Dominant religious and philosophical motifs and images of A. Bely's poetry are investigated in the thesis, their evolution, transformations and modifications are traced. Complexes of images and motifs that consist of the system of interrelated invariant and variant motifs and images are marked out and considered. The investigation of religious and poetic motifs and images of A. Bely's poetry is an evidence of the unique character of his lyrical hero and courses of author consciousness development in the context of spiritual quests of Silver Age epoch.
