Essay

The thesis is dedicated to investigation of spreading, harmfulness, dynamics of development of white leaf spot on strawberry leaves in the Right bank Forest steppe of Ukraine and improves of strawberries protection system. At high incidences of strawberry plantations yield losses reach 1.7-4.27 t/ha, the yield of standard seedlings decreased by 45.7 % has been investigated. On the strawberry crop residues are a large number of sclerotia, on which are formed conidia and they are the main source of primary infection of white leaf spot has been proved. Studies have shown that the above-ground part of the bush mowing immediately after harvest and applying of fungicides on 7-10 day help reduce the prevalence of this culture leaves by white leaf spot. Field resistance of strawberry cultivars to the white spot has been analyzed. Technical efficiency of new fungicides against the disease was fixed. Economic efficiency of the improved security system was evaluated.
