Essay

This research focuses on viral diseases of medicinal plants of the family Compositae and Labiatae, their hazards, safety materials and the development of measures of protection and prevention. Actual direction is to develop effective measures to protect medicinal plants against viral diseases that urgently needs to determine their prevalence in plantations, species composition and properties of pathogens quantitative impact on yield and quality raw materials provided by carrying out monitoring of viral diseases on crops of medicinal plants in the forest-steppe Ukraine.
