Sanahurska H. Formation and Development of Matrimonial Legislation on the Ukrainian Lands (the end of the 18th - the beginning of the 20th centuries).

The dissertation deals with the examination of the matrimonial legislation on the Ukrainian lands inside the Austian (Austro-Hungarian) and Russian empires at the end of the 18th - the beginning of the 20th centuries on the basis of the analysis of normative and legal acts, archival sources and special literature. The legislation on the content of the matrimonial relationships on the Ukrainian lands inside the Austro-Hungarian and Russian empires at the end of the 18th - the beginning of the 20th centuries has been worked out. So, the basis of the normative item of legal regulation of matrimonial legal relationships were the Austrian Civil Code of 1811 on the western Ukrainian lands inside the Austrian (Austro-Hungarian) empire and the Set of Laws of the Russian empire of 1832 and church rules on the Ukrainian lands inside the Russian empire.
