Trokhymchuk V. Economic Power in Terms of Post-Socialist Transformations

The dissertation is devoted to the theoretical and practical research of economic power in terms of modern post-socialist economic transformations. The evolution of theoretical and methodological views on the nature of economic power in global and domestic scientific thought is discovered, the main stages of their formation are revealed, the essence of economic power, its resources, tools and instruments is determined. The interrelation of typology of economic power with certain models of socio-economic development is grounded. The factors of efficiency interruption of economic power system are detected and characterized. The essence of the post-socialist transformation process by applying the institutional methodology is revealed. The effect of property relations changes on the conditions of economic power formation in the modern economy of Ukraine is determined. The index of socio-economic effectiveness of the economic policy of Ukraine due to the present national system peculiarities of economic power is examined. Based on the results of this analysis the main structural components of the policy of economic power balancing in Ukraine are formed and determined.
