Essay

The thesis is devoted to determination of thermoelastic behaviour regularities for bimaterial bodies with heat-permeable interface cracks when thermal effect of the crack filler and the surface films is taken into account. The method of solving plane thermoelastic problems for a bimaterial with interface cracks, permeability to heat of which varies with their opening, is developed. This method consists in reduction of the problems to systems of singular integro-differential equations. Based on the method of successive approximations, an analytical-numerical procedure for solving such systems is proposed for the case of the bimaterial with zero Dundurs parameter. The dependences of the crack opening, the interfacial stress intensity factors, the temperature jump (for a single crack) and the effective temperature jump and thermal resistance (for a periodic array of cracks) on the mechanical load, the heat flow density and direction, the thermal resistance of the films and the thermal conductivity of the filler are analyzed.
