The thesis is devoted to the peculiarities of influence factors on technological risks depressurization vertical steel tanks of petroleum products due to corrosion of structural elements as a scientific basis for development using a risk-based approach to computational prediction methods of numerical values of these risks. Proved and algorithm evaluation values of man-made risks of oil leaks from vertical steel tanks due to their depressurization from corrosion on the definition of a probability distribution locations, emergency diameter holes in the tank and weight accidental release of oil product out of it. The research results implemented in the enterprise with foreign investments "LUKOIL-UKRAINE" (m.
