The thesis studies evolutionary aspects and characteristics of Jordan-Israeli relations in the context of the Middle East peace settlement and their impact on international relations development in region. In particular, Jordan-Israeli relations' influence on the process of Arab-Israeli conflict settlement and Palestinian problem is considered. Macro tendencies of Jordan-Israeli relations are analyzed in the wake of international relations system evolution, namely, within post bipolar and Yalta Potsdam international systems. Analysis is conducted considering transformations in the Middle East international relations and Arab-Israeli conflict. The thesis comprehensively studies the role of Jordan-Israeli relations in finding necessary ways and means for the Middle East settlement. Dynamics and intensity of international, regional and internal factors on the state of Jordan-Israeli relations are scrutinized. Special role of Jordan in regional international relations is proved and reasoned. Specificity of the state's attitude as to the Middle East settlement and Palestinian problem as the pivotal issue of Arab-Israeli is found.
