Essay

Thesis is devoted to justification of the existential plane of time theorization in philosophy on the basis of appealing to the philosophical heritage of S.Kierkegaard. Existential teaching of S.Kierkegaard can be understood as paradigmal in the context of the existential discourse of time in the XX century. It is revealed the historical background of the idea of existential time, by involving the main attempts of theorizing time in Antiquity, Middle Ages and Modern times, and also, it is covered the connection between the teaching of S.Kierkegaard and the specifics of time interpretation in the existential philosophy of ХХ century. It is shown, that temporal issue emphasizes existential philosophy as thinking about possibilities, breakthroughs and limits of human existence. The novelty of the research lies in the articulation of time as value-meaningful coordinates and existential resource of personality, which makes possible the existence and authenticity. On the background of hypertrophy of time conceptions, which were fixed in nine contexts of time, the existential time is allocated as a priority due to the postmodern age of information, speed and game, which is extremely lacking sense, fullness and authenticity.
