Essay

The thesis is devoted to establishing structural patterns in one-dimensional photonic crystals with three half-wave defects that characterize the appearance of the allowed photonic bands in the photonic bandgap. It is shown that the position of allowed photonic bands is determined by the optical distance between the half-wave defects. The conditions of the allowed photonic bands in photonic bandgap structures were established. Increasing angle of incidence leads to a shift into shorter wavelengths of the transmission spectra, the photonic bandgap and allowed photonic bands.
