The dissertation is the first comprehensive study of A. Voloshyn’s state and legal views and their implementation in the context of public figure’s socio-political and state formation activities. Based on A. Voloshyn’s life course, author covered the periods of his formation as a national, cultural and social public figure in close connection with educational, scientific, publicistic, political and legal activities and defined his contribution to the development of civil society and formation of statehood in Transcarpathia. Author covered A. Voloshyn’s state formation and legislative activities and its impact on the formation of Ukrainian legal thought.
