Essay

The object of study - seborrheic dermatitis in HIV-positive patients. The purpose of research - improving the efficiency of the treatment of seborrheic dermatitis in HIV-positive patients with the clinical stage of HIV infection and the clinical and immunological comparisons by applying in the complex therapy narrowband phototherapy, drug metabolic action (Cardonat) and external antifungal agents. Methods: clinical and laboratory, immunological, biophysical, statistical. Solved clinical and epidemiological features of seborrheic dermatitis in HIV-positive patients, depending on the clinical stage of HIV infection. Showed the role of fungal sensitization in HIV-positive patients in the pathogenesis of dermatosis, degree and severity of seborrheic dermatitis. Pathogenetically substantiated and proven efficacy and safety narrowband phototherapy combined with topical antifungal agents in treatment of seborrheic dermatitis in HIV-positive patients. Results of the study are introduced into the practice of MCTPI HC "Regional Dermatovenerologic Dispensary" (Donetsk), Poltava Regional Clinical Dermatovenerologic Dispensary, MI "Dnipropetrovsk Regional Children's Hospital of Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council", MI "Zaporizhzhia Regional Clinical Skin and Venereal Dispensary" of Zaporizhzhia Regional Council, MI "Rivne Regional Skin and Venerological Dispensary" of Rivne Regional Council, Crimean Republican Institution "Clinical Skin and Venerological Dispensary" (Simferopol), educational, scientific and medical complex "University Hospital" of SE "Crimean State Medical University named after S.I. Georgievsky" (Simferopol). Area of use - dermatology.
