Essay

Theoretical and methodological foundations of regional research of the anthropogenic protected objects are examined and substantially supplemented in the thesis. Their previous experience of study is analyzed and the definition of "anthropogenic protected object" is formulated. The anthropogenic protected objects (APO) should be considered as objects that have dominated and fundamentally altered the natural and (or) re-created components and landscape complexes. A detailed analysis of the nature reserve fund of Podillia made it possible to conclude that in its structure there are about 62% of anthropogenic protected areas, 26% have controversial origin and 12% are natural. In the future, increasing the number of protected objects and their areas is possible only through the anthropogenic ones. Constantly increasing role and importance of the APO in the structure of nature reserve fund of Podillia confirmed by the history of their formation.
