Zaitseva S. Lexical, stylistic and word-formative peculiarities of Ukrainian-speaking blog.

The object is the Ukrainian language e-communication. The target is to study blog language in Ukrainian blogosphere. Methods are descriptive, system-structural, comparative, contextual-semantic and word-formative analysis. The widest spectrum of lexical, stylistic and word-formative devices is represented in the blog as one of the most popular media. Both the traditional devices and the devices of virtual communication are actualized here. The peculiarity of lexical structure of blog language in Ukrainian part of the Internet is the large quantity of units used for representing the events of the social and political life, the processes connected with computer and network technologies. The lexis of blog is represented by the large quantity of borrowings, most of those are barbarisms, and the obscene units. The stylistic system of blog language has a significant dichotomic character, which is represented in the language of the blog itself and in the comments as well. Because of the colloquial level of blog language the majority of styles and genres are used in blog itself. The prevalence of colloquial and publicistic styles was distinguished in comments. The stylistic devices are mostly used for creating the emotional and evaluative context. The traditional word-formative devices in the word-formative system of blog language were identified. The usage of specific for the electronic texts word-formative devices as the wholephrases word-formation, syntagmatic word-combination and graphixation is signified. The sphere is the education process and social-linguistics researches.
