Chyzhychenko N. Psychological peculiarities of optimism development in the early youth age

Dissertation is devoted to research of psychological peculiarities development of optimism in the early youth age. Theoretical analysis of scientific approaches to the study of the subject in the foreign and Ukrainian psychology was effected, the content and structure of optimism is determined (cognitive, affective and behavioral components), criteria are proved (frustration tolerance, attributive direction, autonomy), іndicators (autosympathy, hope, self-confidence) and levels (high, above average, average, low) of its development in the early youth age. A program of strengthening of optimism with a view to achieve an agreed level of optimism in the early youth age, methodical recommendations for psychologists, teachers, psychological model of the system of didactic-correction methods are designed. Efficiency and necessity to implement a optimism development program in the educational process with a view to its strengthen of senior pupils and their personal growth is proved. The program consists of didactic-correction trainings aimed at developing senior pupils sympathy for himself, hope of success, self-confidence.
