The thesis is devoted to the complex pharmacognostic study of biologically active substances from the herb of three species genus Asperula: asperula odorata, asperula humifusa and asperula octonaria. The qualitative and quantitative content of biologically active substances have been determined and 15 individual compounds have been isolated from these species and identified. On the basis of the research lipophilic, phenolic complexes and dry extracts have been obtained and their antifungal, antimicrobial, hepatoprotective and antihypoxic activity was established. A morfologo- and chemotaxonomic study of the genus Asperula L. flora of Ukraine was carried out. The drafts of quality-control procedure for Asperulae odoratae herb and dry extracts from Asperulae odoratae herb have been developed.
