Thesis is devoted to the analysis of the doctrinal and practical aspects of the control in the modern constitutional state, epistemological analyzes, structural and functional features of the control. Control is regarded as one of the functional areas of implementation of public authority. The author analyzes the possibility of allocating a single – control branch, based on revision of the classical theory of separation of powers.
