Essay

The thesis is the first in Ukraine complex scientific research of personal non-property relations and their legal regulation according to the Statutes of Great Lithuanian Principality. In the thesis personal non-property relations are considered as an object of scientific research and as a kind of legal relations. The author examines the essence and main features of a human as a participant of personal non-property relations. It is stated that personal non-property rights, liberties and duties of a human are determined by the human essence, in particular, by the existence of a number of human vital needs. The author analyses the history of personal non-property relations development from ancient times till nowadays. The author considers the essence and structure of personal non-property relations according to the Statutes of Great Lithuanian Principality. The author characterises the social estate structure of society in Great Lithuanian Principality and investigates how belonging to certain social estate made influence on the individual's personal non-property rights, liberties and duties. The author systematises personal non-property relations according to different criteria. All kinds of personal non-property relations, mentioned in the Statutes of Great Lithuanian Principality, are researched in the thesis.
