Fedosova M. Peculiarities of the neo-Gothic in Contemporary Ukrainian Literature.

Aim: investigation of Ukrainian neogothic's specifics and its variety, furthermore, determination of its role and place in postmodern prose in V. Shevchuk's, R.Paghutyak's, S.Danilenko's, L, Deresh's and O. Shevchenko's writings. It is the first time, when postmodern Ukrainian noegothic's specific and its impact on the formation of postcolonial discurs are analysed. The conceptions of modern genres', styles' and literature tendencies' development are improved and deepened. Methods: culturally-historical, psychoanalytic, structuralism, poststructuralism and deconstruction, feministic criticism, postcolonial studios, typological and comparative.
