The thesis is devoted to the setting general-theoretical properties of social and legal means of ensuring of legal order. For the first time in our general-theoretical jurisprudence are identified the features and the types of social and legal means of ensuring of legal order. Social means of ensuring of legal order are considered as the system of factors that shape the legitimacy of legal order and arise as a balance between autonomy and self-restraint (self-control) of a person.
