Essay

The investigation transformations of focal seizures in adults. The first time the concept of "transformation seizures." Described variants, types and orientation transformations of seizures in adults developed their classification and the role of transformations in assessing the dynamics of the clinical course of epilepsy. The features of transformations depending on the localization of epileptic foci. Studied the causal factors that lead to the transformation of epileptic seizures. The analysis of the impact of transformations seizures on quality of life of patients with epilepsy, their cognitive function and depression state.
