In the dissertation research was made concerning the historical sources of proceedings on the review of court decisions by the Supreme Court of Ukraine and its place in the structure of civil procedure are determined. The analysis was made of the circle of subjects of the right to apply to the Supreme Court of Ukraine with a statement on the review of court decisions and basis of such review. The main means of provision of unity of judicial practice in civil proceedings by the Supreme Court of Ukraine were determined.
