In the thesis the theoretical foundations of financial derivatives market functioning, it's regulatory system and infrastructure are studied; derivatives economic essence, structural and functional characteristics, role in financial stability ensuring are defined; historical development of the financial derivatives market and of its regulation, their background and trends are analysed; the analysis of domestic financial derivatives market and system of its state regulation are analyzed; the conceptual bases of building the state regulation of financial derivatives market are justified and the methodological approaches to the use of supervision as an instrument of leveling the systemic risk in the OTC financial derivatives market are extended; the scientific and methodical approach to the evaluation of the efficiency of the financial derivatives market functioning is enriched; the methodological provisions for evaluating the impact of basic markets on the financial derivatives market are developed; the scientific and methodical approach to the evaluation of the efficiency of state regulation instruments is suggested.
