Essay

The research object - signal processing in the microwave radiometers with unstable receiver gain. The research goal - increasing of radiometers fluctuation sensitivity with unstable receiver gain and accuracy of radio thermal radiation parameters estimation. Research methods - methods of mathematical statistics, computer modeling and data processing. Practical value - new methods of radio thermal signal processing consider radiometers gain instability, power of their internal noise, width of a pass-band and can be used for development of requirements to modernization and design of radio engineering systems. Novelty - the method of optimal detection of growth of the brightness temperatures is synthesized and studied for the first time; the method of estimation of radio thermal radiation parameters in compensation radiometers is improved; the methods and algorithms of calibration parameters estimation are improved; the method and schemes of chopper radiometers are improved; the method of unstable gain estimation with using linear Winner and Kalman filters is developed for the first time; the method of optimal estimation radio thermal radiation parameters in the adding-noise radiometer is synthesized. Level of integration - industrial. Area of using - data processing in radio engineering systems.
