The thesis work is devoted to the question of development of student youth's healthy lifestyle in the process of facultative wrestling on belts "Alysh" activities. Modern progress trends of national physical education in higher school are considered; condition and problems of development of students' healthy lifestyle are presented; peculiarities of single combats' use in development of healthy lifestyle of youth; short description of wrestling on belts "Alysh" as one of the modern national types of single combats is given.
