Object – the formation of environmental indicators for sustainable regional development; goal – definition of theoretical and methodological, methodical and applied aspects of formation of adaptive system of environmental indicators for sustainable regional development; methods – system, system-structural, economic, statistical, graphical analysis; Novelty – development of theoretical, methodological and practical approaches to improve the organizational and economic support improving governance in the field of regional policy of sustainable development through the improvement of the formation and implementation of regional environmental indicators; results – proposed organizational and methodical approach to developing regional environmental indicators aimed at adapting the regional environmental policy to the requirements of the association agreement with Ukraine and the European Union is based on an assessment of its performance on sustainable development; introduced into economic practice.
