Essay

This research is devoted to the studying of the role and features of prooxidant-antioxidant processes violations in the lungs, bronchial tubes, trachea, bronchoalveolar outwashes and blood in the pathogenesis of an experimental pneumonia before and after the treatment with corvitini. It was revealed that during the whole period of experiment (1st, 3rd, 5th and 7th days) the gradual activation of lipid peroxidation and a compensatory increasing in antioxidant enzyme activity of the lungs and bronchial tubes was carried (only on first day) and it was followed by depression of antioxidant safe in the 3rd, 5th and 7th days of an experimental pneumonia development. It was established that the lungs inflammation causes the imbalance of prooxidant-antioxidant system in the trachea, bronchoalveolar outwashes and blood, which are displayed by excessive accumulation of lipid peroxidation products (1st, 3rd, 5th and 7th days) through the depletion of anti-radical protection in the 5th and 7th days of an experiment. The corrective influence of corvitini on violated indexes of lipid peroxidation and antioxidant safe in the respiratory organs and blood in case of an experimental pneumonia formation was proved.
