Pererva L. Diagnostics and surgical treatment of complicated pancreatic pseudocysts.

The peculiarities of clinical course of complicated pancreatic pseudocysts were estimated in the dissertation. Possibilities of different methods of diagnostic investigation were evaluated. Based on determination of the efficacy of diagnostic tools, the effective algorithm of perioperative investigation that includes contemporary methods of clinical, laboratory, instrumental investigations was formulated, worked out and evaluated. Individualized tactics of treatment that take into account type of the pseudocyst complication was worked out.Techniques of miniinvasive treatment including methods of endoscopic treatment and laparoscopic surgery were worked out, implemented and evaluated. Advantages of miniinvasive internal drainage of complicated pancreatic pseudocysts were proved.Based on analysis of long-term results of treatment recommendations for choice of the best operative technique were given due to the type of pancreatic pseudocyst complication.
