The thesis actualized the problem of formation of students of art schools in China and Ukraine timbre representations in the auditory vocal training. On the basis of the views of foreign, Ukrainian and Chinese scientists on this problem outlined the content line techniques - Integration of European, Ukrainian and Chinese traditions and heritage of teaching vocal art. The method of formation timbre representations in the auditory vocal training. Its effectiveness positivity appeared in the dynamics of levels of timbre and auditory representations of students of higher educational institutions.
