Kaminska A. Professional disadaptation in surgeons and physicians (clinical phenomenology, mechanisms of formation, psychocorrection)

The study of 255 surgeons and physicians, allowed to define the features of the professional disadaptation formation in these groups of doctors. The features of mental and emotional state of surgeons and physicians with professional diasadaptation, depending on length of their service, were investigated. Individual psychological and socio-psychological predictors of professional diasadaptation formation in surgeons and physicians were identified. Pathological components, which interference generates clinical specificity and peculiarities of the phenomenon of professional disadaptation, namely, psycho-emotional disorders, somatovegetative imbalance, dissomnological disorders, social interaction disorders, maladaptive coping behavior, were marked and became the main targets for psychocorrection. Based on these results, the system of psychocorrection of professional disadaptation formation was scientifically proved, developed and implemented. Its effectiveness was estimated and the necessity of using these interventions was proven.
