Essay

As a result of psychodiagnostic, clinical, psychological, social, demographic, statistical survey of 114 patients who had a somatic diagnosis "psoriasis" it was investigated the disturbances at the psycho-emotional, individual psychological and psychosocial levels. Maladaptive psychological characteristics of patients with psoriasis are: psycho-emotional disorders (high level of personal and situational anxiety, depressive tendencies availability, high levels of subjective feelings of loneliness, manifestations of indirect aggression (suspicion, irritability, guilt) infringement in the personal sphere: lower self-esteem, accentuation of character, inharmonious types of attitude towards the disease, the tendency to alexithymia. It was distinguished two specific types of patients with psoriasis: anxious-neurotic and aggressive-hostile. It was established social-psychological characteristics of patients with psoriasis who are is not satisfied with family relationships, social functioning in the professional field and the field of communication. It was developed and introduced into clinical practice system of correction and psychoprophylaxis, which was based on the investigation data concerning identified maladaptive symptoms The methods of correctional influence system was integrated to provide care to patients with psoriasis and included relaxation techniques, cognitive-behavioral therapy, body-oriented therapy, EMDR-therapy by F. Shapiro, social and psychological training. The impact of psychological correction system was aimed at normalizing emotional state of patients, diminished manifestations of psychological maladjustment, pathological leveling of character and personality tendencies, updating personal resources of self changing, activation of adaptive personal control.
