Osadchyi I. Restructuring and reorganization of the banking system of Ukraine

The thesis deepens theoretical and methodological positions concerning determination of the essence and forms of restructuring and reorganization of the banking system, grounds the instruments for financial recovery of banking institutions, and determines special features and principles of restructuring and reorganization of the banking system under financial globalization. There are grounded scientific and methodological approaches to classification of types of banking system restructuring, which mark out dominant features reflecting the special character of banking system operation in the competitive environment and taking into account orientation of restructuring changes and their results as well as a method of formation and use of financial advantages. There is estimated the efficiency of activities of some banks on the ground of key indicators characterizing the effectiveness of management of active and passive operations of the banks (the savings rate, bank's viability rate, net interest margin, net non-interest margin, net spread, return on assets, and return on capital) and affecting the increase in profitability and the reduction in the threat of banks' bankruptcy. There are developed scientific and methodological principles of modeling the efficiency factors of restructuring processes in the domestic banking system.
