The thesis is devoted to the improvement of the results of treatment of children suffering from long-term psycho-emotional abuse on the basis of studying nature of clinical, psycho-neurological, psychoemotional and cog-nitive disorders and combined usage of nootropic means (hopantenic acid) with individual psychological correction by art therapy methods. It is established that the main psychoemotional disorders in children, who experienced psycho-emotional abuse are the following: self-depreciation, high anxiety level, as well as depression, impulsivity, intraversion, self-doubt, irritability, petulance, negation, pessimism, and aggression. Cog-nitive disorders in children who experienced psycho-emotional abuse are defective memory, impaired concentration, perceptual defect, poor pro-cessing of information, low efficiancy. The combined use of the hopantenic acid and individual psychological correction methods (fairy tale and sand therapy) improve efficacy of psycho-emotional disorders and cognitive function disorders which were caused by psychological abuse.
