Essay

The thesis is devoted to the development and validation of polarimetric quantitative determination methods of antibiotics (azithromycin, cefazolin sodium, benzylpenicillin sodium) in substance, as well as the stability study of extemporaneous preparations of suspension azithromycin, cefazolin sodium eye drops and benzylpenicillin sodium eye drops with magnesium sulphate. For the first time qualification of polarimetric equipment was carried out according to the technical characteristics and pharmacopoeia requirements and it was proven the ability to use electronic polarimeters in pharmaceutical analysis in conditions of pharmacies and quality control laboratories. For the first time the chemical stability of the pharmacy prepared azithromycin suspension was studied and the influence of temperature on the storage time, the storage conditions and shelf life were established. According to the results of experimental studies the optimal time and storage conditions of pharmacy prepared cefazolin sodium eye drops were established. The chemical stability of benzylpenicillin sodium salt eye drops with magnesium sulphate at different storage conditions was studied
