The thesis is devoted to the complex pharmacognostic study of biologically active substances from the herb of the genus Tagetes: African marigold, French marigold and Signet marigold. The technology of dry extract from the herb of African marigold and quality control methods project “Marigold herb dry extract” were elaborated on the basis of the research. Acute toxicity, choleretic and hepatoprotective effects were defined.
