Essay

The object: blood plasma donors. The purpose: to characterize the state of health of the donor at the stages of plasma donation and evaluate the psycho-emotional component of health. It is shown that neopterin is an integral indicator of activation of cellular immunity, so it indicates the expressing of immunity, reflects the level of infection with bloodborne infections and can serve as a highly complementary test the state of health of the donor. Based on the tests assessing mental and physical condition of the donor revealed that the procedure of automatic plasmapheresis does not cause pathological changes in 98.81% of the donors at all stages of plasmapheresis.
