Mialkovskyi D. Clinical semiotics and surgical aspects of chronic groin pain syndrome

The thesis is aimed at one of the most important problems, i. e. chronic groin pain syndrome. The problem is not well-described in papers all over the world. The experiments on male corps detaсted existence of communicate skin branches between inguinal nerves as cause of incongruities of results of nerve blocks and neurectomis. Еxperiment conducted on laboratory rates showed that all kinds of sutures and meshes lead to significant inflammatory-degenerative processes in peripheral nerves. The clinical data of 139 consecutive patients suffered from chronic groin pain proved that there is no hi-informative diagnostic tool. Diagnostic plan, algorithm and method of gradual pneumoperitoneochromography for identification of weakness of posterior inguinal wall were devised. The definitions of the terms were suggested. The known classification was modernized. The prevalence of surgical treatment was proved.
