The criminological characteristic of theft, combined with the penetration of housing is provided. The level and dynamics of these crimes and their structure and geographical spreading are determined. The criminological important features of criminal personality are analyzed. Typology of criminals who commit theft, combined with the penetration of housing, is given. The peculiarities of prevention of theft, combined with the penetration of housing, by investigators, officers of criminal investigation department, district inspectors and other law enforcement services and departments, are explored.
