Essay

Object: accommodative esotropya. Purpose: to increase the effectiveness of accommodative esotropya diagnostic in children by accommodative-convergent-pupillary system features' evaluating. Methods: clinical, ophthalmological, computer pupillographya, statistical; complex "Oculograph OK-2", Hartinhera's refractometer, autorefractometer "Topcon". Supplemented scientific data on functional reduction of the iris' muscle reactivity in patients with accommodative esotropya. Specified scientific data on decreasing of accommodative-convergent-pupillary system's functional reactivity. Supplemented scientific data on neuro-reflex pupillary reaction violation. It was noted reduction in corrected visual acuity in patients with refractive accommodative esotropya in comparison with other types. It was noted reduction in fusion ability in the form of fusion absence or its amplitude reduction more often in patients with combined accommodative esotropya. Detected accommodative function weakening especially significant in patients with combined esotropya. The method of AKPS' disorders detection by computer pupillographya analysis in patients with accommodative esotropya was developed. The results of research were introduced into clinical practice in medical institutions: Filatov Institute and Sanatorium "Barvinok". Sphere of use - medicine, ophthalmology.
