Kobrin V. Constitutional and legal status of the Prime Minister of Ukraine

The thesis is devoted to a complex research of the constitutional and legal status of the Prime Minister of Ukraine. On the basis of the results of the scientists' theoretical research, analyzing the current legislation, it has been disclosed the concept, content and structure of constitutional and legal status of the Prime Minister of Ukraine, methodology of his research and institute genesis of government head in the political and legal thought of Ukraine. It was studied the etymology of the notion of "head of government", noted the basic approaches to its definition and stated the lack of regulatory definition of " The Prime Minister", highlighted the characteristics and set the qualifications of the Prime Minister of Ukraine. It is proved that the methodological tools create the preconditions for the development of algorithm of the research of constitutional and legal status of the Prime Minister of Ukraine and its constituent elements by clarifying the legal nature of the role, place and importance of the power institution, its functions and powers, relationships with other agencies and officials of public authorities. The analysis of the latest period of the development of Ukrainian state has been conducted, which established the post of the Prime Minister of Ukraine and the process of forming the system of executive power.
