Shtym T. Shareholders' agreements, conflict of interest transactions and major transactions in joint-stock companies.

This dissertation is an independent completed academic work devoted to the research of certain kinds of contracts, particularly shareholders' agreements, conflict of interest transactions and major transactions in the joint-stock companies. The doctrinal definitions of shareholder relations, major transactions, conflict of interest transactions and shareholders' agreements are formulated in this work. The key theoretical and practical issues arising during the conclusion and execution of the above mentioned contracts are also defined. A number of theoretical positions and conclusions were developed, as well as scientifically substantiated and formulated concrete proposals aiming to improve the legal regulation of conclusion and execution of certain types of contracts concluded by the joint-stock companies.
