Essay

In the thesis it was defined the level of physical condition of students of higher educational establishments and factors of its determination. On the basis of the results of the study it was grounded the model of evaluation of educational achievements in physical education among students of higher educational establishments that includes principles (of individuality, regularity and systematization, of planned character and topicality, efficiency, openness and transparence, objectivity and unity of requirements, mutual respect), components (methodological, procedural and technical), functions (diagnostic, informational, educational, prognostic, stimulating, controlling and corrective), forms (verbal, nonverbal, collective and digital) and methods (monitoring, interview, oral questioning, written control, didactic tests, testing) of control. It was developed a personality oriented methodology of evaluation of educational achievements in physical education of students taking into account competence approach in education.
