Volianiuk O. Juvenile Correctional Facility as a Subject of Crime Prevention.

The paper provides an overview of the theoretical and legal foundations for the crime prevention in juvenile correctional facilities, defines the features of criminal legal characteristics of offenses. Juvenile delinquency as an object of criminological characteristics is considered; its criminological meaningful features are analyzed. The reasons and conditions of the crimes committed in juvenile correctional facilities are defined, their interrelationship and the community of criminogenic factors with other kinds of crime are revealed. Criminological portrait of a person, serving a sentence in juvenile correctional facility, is developed, particularly, main criminogenic features and laws of the formation of these persons are defined.
