Tsurkan M. The Means of Colloquiality Stylization in the Prose of the Bukovynian Writers in the Early ХХІ Century.

The paper under discussion makes an attempt to fix the borders of the notion of "colloquiality" in the aspects of the Ukrainian language history and stylistics. It determines the sources of formation of lingual peculiarities of the contemporary Bukovynian writers - M. Matios, H. Tarasiuk, V. Kozhelianko, M. Lazaruk, V. Mykhailovskyi - within the framework of extralingual criteria of correlating the language of their prose with the notion of "the writer of a certain area". Particular emphasis has been laid upon the analysis of structural, semantic, areal, and functional characteristics of various lexical means of colloquiality stylization, that cover generally-used and functionally-restricted colloquial vocabulary, as well as proper names performing nominative, ethnographic, and expressive functions. Basic phrasal means of colloquiality stylization in the prose language of the Bukovynian writers have been presented in the research for the first time. Besides, certain communicative units, important for the every day oral communication, have been typologised. The latter units make a stylistic context closer to the image of real, oral-conversational, free communication, thus creating social-territorial and social-cultural background.
