Theoretical foundations of the formation and development of the agricultural market are investigated in the dissertation. Adequate essence of modern agricultural market of the methodological tools for its formation in terms of economic transformation has made it possible to justify the ways and mechanisms of institutional reforms, development of market infrastructure. Analysis of the formation and development of the domestic agricultural market is carried out and peculiarities of the impact of state regulation mechanisms on the efficiency of the agricultural sector are specified. Priority areas of institutional transformations that provide enhancement of the agricultural market functionality are outlined.
