Zabrodska T. The prevention of recurrent crimes in the field of illicit trafficking of drugs, psychotropic substances, their analogues or precursors

The dissertation provides a comprehensive research of the preventive measures of recurrent crimes in drug trafficking. It highlights the peculiarities of the legal regulation of the circulation of drugs, psychotropic substances, their analogues or precursors in Ukraine. Based on the processing of data about the level, structure and dynamics of the investigated crimes and the results of our own criminological research, it was established the classification of the determinants of recurrent crimes in drug trafficking. It was also realized the typology of persons who commit the aforecited crimes. We justified the practical suggestions and recommendations aimed at improving the preventive activity of the police authority, penal institutions, entities that participate in programs of re-socialization of people released from prison, those who provide medical services to drug users, etc.
