Object of research: the processes forming the system of economic security of the region. Objective: justification of the theoretical and methodological foundations and development of relevant scientific and practical recommendations for improving the mechanisms of state regulation of economic security of regions of Ukraine. Methods: historical and logical, abstract- logical, analysis, synthesis, settlement-constructive and graphics. Results: improved theoretical principles and practical recommendations with improvement of mechanism of state regulation of economic security of regions of Ukraine. Novelty: generalized approaches to the formation mechanisms of state regulation of economic security of the region as an unstable environment, with clear delineation step in determining the security of regional socio-economic systems from threats; economic mechanism of state regulation of economic security regions through the development priorities of stimulating their development; obtained the further development of conceptual and categorical apparatus field of science "State Government" by clarifying the content of the concept of "mechanisms of state regulation of economic security of the region" and others. Introduced in the activity of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Construction, Urban Development, Housing and Regional Policy, Ministry of Regional Development, Construction and Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine, Kyiv Regional State Administration, Municipal Management Academy.
