This paper provides a general theoretical analysis of law formalization. The paper examines conceptual bases of methodology of knowledge of law formalization. The study presents content and features of law formalization. It offers author’s interpretation of the notion of law formalization and identifies basic features of this phenomenon. This study seeks to understand characteristic patterns and factors that contribute to the emergence of law formalization. The study explores levels of law formalization and analyzes their content. It determines positive and negative models of law formalization
