Essay

The methods of spherical aberration and coma correction for monochromatic and polychromatic infrared refractive-diffractive optical systems are suggested. The achromatic diffractive lens model with the improved quality of image by the spherical aberration reduction is also suggested. The theoretical and experimental evaluations of image quality creating by the diffractive lens in the presence of background from the non-working diffractive orders are performed.
