Essay

The paper is deals with the problem of ovarian dysfunction prevention following uterine arteries embolization in women with large size uterine fibroids. It was found that the incidence of ovarian dysfunction symptoms was typical for women of late reproductive age during the first three month post UAE irrespective of whether it was used as monotherapy or a part of combined treatment. Later on graduate restoration of ovarian function occurred. We elaborated the algorithm and mathematical model of ovarian dysfunction development in reproductive age women who underwent UEA for large size uterine fibroids and put forward pathogenically based prophylactic complex that decreases the risk of ovarian dysfunction in this category of patients.
